How Long Until Contact?

This goes well with the universe I created to run my Deep Space campaigns in. I prefer the sense of isolation and terror over alien buddy/neighbors in my sci-fi.

Aliens are not our buddies. Have we learned nothing from Independence Day?!

Yea, the isolation of space is a wonderful natural horror source for Deep Space.  You are out there, in a hostile environment, far away from any hope of rescue - then throw in the alien horrors of the system on top of that and it is just icing on an already terrifying cake.
