  • Grant was born to a poor patriotic family. His parents were both alive for most of his childhood. His mother's death at 17 was never fully explained to him. His father when asked never wanted to talk about it unless the spirits were imbibed. Years of not knowing, unsteady jobs, and a failed economy led to Grants infantry service. While on his first deployment 10 years latter his father passed. Again a death he had no control over. The loss made him a better soldier. At the start of Grants third deployment he was ambushed and lone survivor to an IED, it cost him his legs. With his convoy and family departed Grant went to school. He majored in philosophy under William James and Carl Jung. In school Grant resesitized and made close friends. That was in 2010. Five years later Grant has some of the same friends.
